I recently bought Getright 6 Pro, and cannot download from Rapidshare sites with it, which is very annoying.

With another download manager I bought (IDA) it works flawlessly.

Could You please help how to do it?

Hi,
RapidShare officially only allows premium acounts to use download managers. Look their advise: "IMPORTANT: Download-accelerators are only supported with a PREMIUM-Account!".

To Ricardo,

Unfortunately I think You did not read my topic carefully.

So here it is again more clearly

1. Getright Pro has a function called "replace the save as window, works for anything that would be saved from the browser"

2. if my request would be impossible, I would not complain. But others can do it (like Regete, Internet Download Accelerator and Internet Download Manager)

3. I am not asking to get a "resume" and a "multisegmented" download function, which is clearly only working with a Premium account. I am asking to be able to download the file with Getright, no resume and 1 segment

The issue is that Getright has a function that should intercept all downloads and it doesn't work properly and I am asking that this should be fixed or if I am doing something wrong, to be explained what.

Hopefully it is now clear to everybody!

Here the "Save As" window works normally. The problem is to download the file...

There is a topic about this:

Also, wait until the developer (Michael) answer you.

Here is the solution.
It works for any download manager(DM) because it does not depend on the DM itself.
You can even enter it in browser and download directly without the need to push premium buttons.

If you whant your download to work you have to do next:

1.For example you have the link

http://rapidshare.de.../file.part1.rar

you enter the link to your browser first and then click on premium user button.

2.When you get to the links section instead of clicking on the link with left mouse button

you do it with right button on any link and "copy" the link.

3.Transfer the link to notepad or any text editor

The link should look something like this now:

http://dl42.rapidsha.../file.part1.rar

this is a direct link and its almost like the original link but it has the name of server
from which download will go, in this case "dl42".

4.Now you take that link and put your username and password in it like this:

http://USERNAME:PASS.../file.part1.rar

for example if the username is 12345 and password is 67890 then it looks like this:

http://12345:67890@d.../file.part1.rar

5.Now you take all the links for all the parts of the file you wish to download

http://rapidshare.de.../file.part2.rar
http://rapidshare.de.../file.part3.rar
http://rapidshare.de.../file.part4.rar

and copy them to notepad and use the "replace" in "edit" menu like this:

in "find what" you put: http://
in "replace with" you put: http://12345:67890@dl42.

(where username is 12345 and password is 67890)

6.All your links should look like this now:

http://12345:67890@d.../file.part1.rar
http://12345:67890@d.../file.part2.rar
http://12345:67890@d.../file.part3.rar
http://12345:67890@d.../file.part4.rar

Now they are ready for download in any download manager or browser directly.

7.EXTRAS: I dont use Getright so I dont know if there is multiple download adding (adding of
many files to download at once), but in free Flashget version there is, so when you select
the links and do "copy" (CTRL+C or SHIFT+Insert) the Flashget opens a download for each link
that you have selected so you can add 100 links in 3 seconds very nice so dont need to add
links one by one.

8.You only do all this so that you dont need to enter all the links in browser, just the
first one. The other links you generate like described above from the first, very nice for
files that have a lot of parts. Also this works with rapidshare ".com" and ".de".

Thats it, have a nice download.

There are some limits--like no accelerating, but I did some improvements to the new 6.1+01 build so that Rapidshare Free accounts are working (haven't tested with premium...but they should work at least as well!)

If you have fast internet and you dont need for your downloads to be able to continue after you stop them then solution its even simpler then in the message I wrote earlier:

Now you can do it like this:

1.For example you have links:

http://rapidshare.de.../file.part1.rar
http://rapidshare.de.../file.part2.rar
http://rapidshare.de.../file.part3.rar
http://rapidshare.de.../file.part4.rar

2.Transfer the link to notepad or any text editor

3.Now you take that link and put your username and password in it like this:

http://USERNAME:PASS.../file.part1.rar

for example if the username is 12345 and password is 67890 then it looks like this:

http://12345:67890@r.../file.part1.rar

for multiple files use the "replace" in "edit" menu like this:

in "find what" you put: http://
in "replace with" you put: http://12345:67890@

(where username is 12345 and password is 67890)

4.All your links should look like this now:

http://12345:67890@r.../file.part1.rar
http://12345:67890@r.../file.part2.rar
http://12345:67890@r.../file.part3.rar
http://12345:67890@r.../file.part4.rar

Now they are ready for download in any download manager.

5.EXTRAS: I dont use Getright so I dont know if there is multiple download adding (adding of
many files to download at once), but in free Flashget version there is, so when you select
the links and do "copy" (CTRL+C or SHIFT+Insert) the Flashget opens a download for each link
that you have selected so you can add 100 links in 3 seconds very nice so dont need to add
links one by one.

6.You dont need to put the link in browser to get server name like I read somewhere and wrote in one earlier message. From testing I concluded that you only need to put your username and password into the link like decribed above and server will be found automaticly. Maybe this new to rapidshare. I dont think that earlier you could do this without server name.

You are at the GetRight forum <_<... Don't you think it's easier to find answers for other softwares using their helps and sites?
(Well, I would answer if I knew the answer...)

For me RapidShare should improve their systems to make the things easier and work better... and stop being a crack paradise.
